Some students and teachers in Nassau smashed pumpkins today in the name of science.
They dropped pumpkins and other items off the top of a fire truck ladder outside Syosset High School, but it wasn't all fun and games. They conducted the lesson to learn about gravity.
It's the 12th year the school has conducted the lesson, and teachers say it's one the students remember for years to come.
