Hissing cockroaches, bearded dragons and leopard geckos are some of the creatures that students got to check out today in Levittown.
First-graders from Gardners Avenue Elementary School spent part of the day checking out exotic animals during a visit to MacArthur High School.
"It's an opportunity for them to see animals they hadn't seen before, spark some curiosity, spark some interest," says Dr. David Friedman, a teacher at the school.
It marked the second year that the young students have gone to the high school for the event.
