High school students taught younger students in Brentwood Tuesday about hydroponic gardening.

The program, hosted by Laurel Park Elementary School, is called GROW. GROW stands for "Green Resource for Observing Water."

Teachers say the mentoring aspect of project GROW is just as important as a science lesson.
