Street to be named in honor of slain NYPD officer

A street in Queens Village will be named in honor of an NYPD detective gunned down in the line of duty. The intersection of 222nd Street and 92nd Road will be co-named Detective 1st Grade Brian Moore

A street in Queens Village will be named in honor of an NYPD detective gunned down in the line of duty.
The intersection of 222nd Street and 92nd Road will be co-named Detective 1st Grade Brian Moore Way. 
 The 25-year-old Massapequa native was shot and killed in May while attempting to question a suspect about a weapon.
