Strawberry picking season is underway at Sujecki Farms in Calverton
It’s prime strawberry picking season on the East End and at Sujecki Farms in Calverton.
There's no entrance fee, you just pay for what you pick by the pound.
Pro-picking tips: Leave the white ones - because the brighter the berry the sweeter, and then it's all in the thumb.
The sweet, soft berries are great for making jam, or you can buy a jar in their country store.
Strawberry season goes through the end of June, then it's time for blueberries.
