Bowling alleys reopen across Long Island with strict guidelines in place
Bowling alleys must observe the 50% capacity rule and there must be a plan to sanitize shared equipment. In addition, every other lane must also be closed.

410ds agoBowling alleys have reopened across Long Island Monday for the first time since the pandemic started, but things will look very different inside.
News 12 Long Island's Caroline Flynn was at Massapequa Bowl, where they are ready to welcome back bowlers.
Bowling alleys will currently be at 50% capacity only with every other lane closed down to enforce social distancing.
In addition, bowlers must bowl with their own group – and eat and drink with them too.
Patrons are not able to get up to place an order at the bar, but waiters will be available to take orders.
Bowling alleys also have installed ventilation systems and sanitizing stations.
Lastly, bowlers will still be able to rent a pair of shoes and borrow a ball – but before or after every use the staff will be sanitizing the equipment.
