Tropical Storm Fay brought heavy rain and wind to the tri-state area Friday.

What you need to know:
•A tropical storm warning was issued for Long Island.
•Fay slowly tracked over the tri-state area throughout the day.
•Flash flood watches were issued for the entire area. 

• The storm made landfall just before 5 p.m. near Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Timing:
The storm will move out tonight. 
Weekend weather will be hot, humid with the chance for scattered showers.
