County Executive Laura Curran gave an update on Nassau's response to the COVID-19 pandemic on Saturday, April 25.
BRIEFING NOTES:
-Curran discussed expanded testing efforts, including bringing COVID testing to community clinics in addition to hospitals and the Jones Beach site.
-The county executive detailed charges that were brought against a
price gouging suspect in the county.
-Curran warned that while other things might be on pause, county police will come after those who commit crimes. She said it in response to a question about
a robbery in Hicksville.
