Newsday: Dean Skelos has coronavirus, will be released from prison early

According to Newsday, the Rockville Centre Republican tested positive for the virus at the Otisville federal prison in Orange County.

Former State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos is being released from prison early because he has COVID-19.
According to Newsday, the Rockville Centre Republican tested positive for the virus at the Otisville federal prison in Orange County.
As a result, he'll be approved for furlough and home confinement.
It's not clear when Skelos will be released.
Skelos has more than two years remaining on a 51-month sentence for political corruption after using his position to get his son Adam a no-show job.
