Some Long Island gun stores have seen a boom in business amid the coronavirus outbreak.
A line of nearly 30 people could be seen flowing outside of Coliseum Gun Traders in Uniondale Wednesday. Owner Andrew Chernoff says he has seen an increase in sales of guns and ammo.
"It's been pretty overwhelming. My industry is running out of product," says Chernoff.
Chernoff says within the past 10 days when sales started increasing, he's had to limit the number of people in his store at one time. Right now, he is only allowing five people at a time.

Chernoff says the most popular item they've been selling is a 12-gauge shotgun. He says most people have been first-time buyers, who are getting a gun for self-defense.
Andre Estrada of Port Jefferson Station was among those in line making a first-time purchase.
"We definitely need arms to protect ourselves," says Estrada. "People have a right to be able to defend themselves, we have the Second Amendment."
Chernoff says he still has enough supplies, but he doesn't know for how long.
Other gun shops News 12 spoke to say they're seeing similar increases in sales.
