According to police, 24-year-old Gabriel Perez was hit at the intersection of Portion Road and North Morris Avenue.

Police say a man was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Farmingville.
According to police, 24-year-old Gabriel Perez was hit at the intersection of Portion Road and North Morris Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Perez lying in the road.
The Farmingville man was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious condition.
