Memorial services set for Shoreham-Wading River HS student killed in crash

Melissa Marchese, 18, died from her injuries after she and two classmates were hit by a car while making a turn at a light onto Route 25A.

Memorial services have been set for the Shoreham-Wading River High School student who was killed in a car crash last week.
Melissa Marchese, 18, died from her injuries after she and two classmates were hit by a car while making a turn at a light onto Route 25A.
The group was on its way to a senior awards ceremony at the school Thursday evening.
A wake for Marchese will be held at the Branch Funeral Home Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Marchese's funeral is scheduled for Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Church on Randall Road in Shoreham.
