The family of one of the victims in a deadly limo accident that occurred in Cutchogue in July is planning on filing two lawsuits.
Brittney Schulman was one of four women killed when police say the limo was hit by Steven Romeo, an alleged drunken driver. The limo was making a U-turn at the intersection of Route 48 and Depot Lane at the time of the crash.
Schulman's family plans to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Romeo, the driver of the limo, the owner of the limo company and Vineyard 48, where the women were before the crash.
The family will also file a civil wrongful death suit against Suffolk, the Town of Southold and the state.
The family of Lauren Baruch, another victim of the crash, is also suing Suffolk and the Town of Southold.
Romeo was named in a wrongful-death lawsuit last year.
