Less wind, with warming temperatures are on the way for Long Island.
Thursday will be cold, but it won't feel as bad, with less wind. Highs will be in the low-30s, with southwest winds 5 to 15 mph. There is a chance for some flurries or light snow showers for a brief period of time between 6 and 10 p.m. Thursday evening.
Friday is my pick of the week, with sunshine and pleasant weather. Highs will be near 40 degrees.
Warmer weather on Saturday will bring the chance for late day rain showers. The rain will clear at night, with some sun to start Sunday.
Some light rain and snow is possible Sunday night into Monday morning. Sunshine returns by Monday afternoon, with a big blast of cold on the way for the middle of the week.
