DENSE FOG TONIGHT
Drive with caution tonight through Wednesday morning - a dense fog advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. through at least 10 a.m. Wednesday. Visibility can be less than one-quarter mile at times and the fog is expected to be widespread throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. While most temperatures will stay above freezing, a few icy spots may develop along the North Shore and East End where temperatures early Wednesday morning can be closer to freezing.
OFF AND ON RAIN WEDNESDAY
Keep a rain jacket and umbrella with you tomorrow. Rain will be off and on throughout the day and even just some drizzle at times. Rain totals are expected to only be around 0.25" or less, but there can still be puddles around from additional snow and ice melting. Highs will get into the low 40s.
STEADIER RAIN FRIDAY
Friday's morning commute looks very wet with periods of moderate rain. This can cause some larger puddles. Plan on needing a bit of some extra travel time Friday morning. The steadiest rain should taper off into the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 41 degrees.

NICEST DAYS THIS WEEK
Clouds on Thursday may be pesky and hang on for a while, but clouds should break for some breaks of afternoon sunshine along with high temperatures around 40 degrees. Saturday also looks decent now with a partly sunny sky and high temperatures around 41 degrees.
