Soggy Saturday, improving weather for Father's Day

Clouds increase overnight, with lows near 60 degrees and light east winds.

FORECAST:
A few showers will arrive by daybreak, with on-and-off rain showers expected through much of Saturday. It will be much cooler, with high temperatures in the mid- to upper 60s. Rain will taper off late in the afternoon and evening, with drier weather expected overnight.
Sunday looks better for Father's Day, but it will still be quite gray and cool. Highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees, with the slight chance of a stray shower along the South Shore.
Our weather will gradually improve through the start of next week, with sunshine and warmer temperatures by Tuesday into Wednesday.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with the chance for rain showers by morning. Lows near 63 degrees, with light east winds.
SATURDAY: Cloud, with rain showers likely, especially during the morning and early afternoon. Rain showers taper off late in the day, with highs near 67 degrees. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Cloudy, with the chance for a few showers overnight. Lows near 57 degrees.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy, with highs near 70 degrees. Slight chance for a shower along the South Shore in the morning. Highs near 70 degrees. Partly cloudy at night, with lows near 60 degrees.
MONDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy, with the slight chance of showers. Highs near 70 degrees. Lows near 63 degrees.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny. Warmer, with highs near 75 degrees. Lows near 67 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Warm, with highs near 78 degrees. Lows near 68 degrees.
