FORECAST:
The colder air is here... for now. Temperatures struggled today to warm up and they were unsuccessful. Now tonight without the winds, they will quickly fall back into the 30s. Some areas will be right around freezing. The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for S. Fairfield County starting at midnight.
Friday will feature sun and clouds, as temperatures quickly recover. Highs will jump into the 50s to near 60 degrees. It will be windy again, but winds will be out of the Southwest and warm us back up. Winds can gust up to 30 mph during the day. Rain arrives at night with the passage of a cold front.
Temperatures will fall for Sunday with another round of rain. This storm system will pass right over the area and rain may linger into early Monday.
Temperatures will turn sharply colder early next week. Veteran's Day will only be in the middle 40s.
