A coastal storm is set to bring rain, wind and minor flooding concerns to Long Island overnight into early Tuesday.
News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the worst of the storm's rain will be between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. The strongest of the winds will be between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.
The morning commute is not expected to be impacted by the rain, but winds will linger through the morning rush.
Calmer and warmer weather come through for the middle of the week. Highs will be in the high-50s to low-60s for Tuesday and Wednesday.
There will be a chance for rain again on Thursday afternoon.
It will be breezy again on Friday before another chance of rain Saturday afternoon.
