It's been a busy month for weather with frequent small storms to dodge every few days, but the month is ending on a really good note. This weekend starts off chilly, but our mildest stretch of weather so far this year is on the way.
THE WEEKEND: This morning is cold with low temperatures in the teens in many neighborhoods, but we'll quickly jump into the 30s before noontime. It's noticeably less windy. We're expecting plenty of sunshine this afternoon with high temperatures in the 30s. A light breeze will bring wind chills down a bit.
TONIGHT: Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s, but a few spots will stay in the low 30s under mainly clear skies.
SUNDAY: We'll have a few passing clouds, but high temperatures will reach the low 40s in the afternoon with a light west wind at 10 mph.
NEXT WEEK: Monday is mainly sunny with high temperatures in the mid-40s. Clouds will build on Tuesday with a few sprinkles, but it's bringing mild air from the south. A few spots could reach the mid-50s on Tuesday, but our forecast is for near 50-degree temperatures. Wednesday is also potentially in the 50s, but with more sunshine.
NEXT STORM: Our next storm arrives on Thursday, but it will bring plain rain with high temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Expect cloudy skies with steady light rain throughout the day.
