A strong storm with warmer weather is set to bring flooding rain to the area Friday into Saturday.
News 12 meteorologists say 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected from the storm through Saturday afternoon. Street flooding is expected and travel Friday night could be dangerous.
Expect periods of rain, heavy at times on Friday with highs in the low 50s.
On Saturday, be alert for street flooding from melting snow. Cloudy skies are expected with rain tapering off west to east during early afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to turn colder later afternoon, dropping into the upper 30s.
