Stony Brook University Hospital has been named one of the best locations for cardiac and stroke care, according to new research released by Healthgrades.

Healthgrades lists Stony Brook as one of the 50 best hospitals for cardiac surgery in the U.S. It also named it one of the 100 best hospitals for cardiac care for nine years in a row.

Stony Brook is also ranked among the 100 best hospitals for stroke care.
