State Sen. Steve Rhoad spread some holiday cheer on Sunday bringing Toys for Tots and Santa Claus himself to a Seaford family who experienced a tragedy.

The Kalyan Family, who have been staying in Queens, had their home destroyed by a fire on Thursday.

"This tragedy has caused significant emotional distress to all of us and to see them smile for just five minutes means a lot,” said Kevin Kalyan.

Fire officials say the blaze started when the house's Christmas lights ignited a trash bag filled with sawdust.
