A person has died from their injuries sustained during a head-on crash on the Meadowbrook State Parkway, police say.

Police say 21-year-old Mubashir Hossain was traveling northbound Thursday when he crossed over the median near Exit M4 into the southbound lanes around 3 p.m.

Police say he crashed into a minivan.

Hossain died as a result of his injures.

His passenger was seriously injured.

The driver of the minivan was hospitalized with what police say are injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
