Fourth-graders and their families are getting free admission to state parks across New York.
A new state program is giving out park passes at no charge to fourth-graders and their families.
Organizers say it is part of an effort to encourage kids to enjoy the outdoors.
The passes can also be used at state historic sites for free tours.
