The state Parks Department confirms that a possible shark sighting at Robert Moses turned out to be two dolphins swimming about 100 yards offshore.
The scare happened at Robert Moses Field 3.
Last month, there were several shark sightings at Atlantic Beach in Nassau County.
Swimmers were kept out of the water, but the beach has since been reopened to them.
