A state judge has paved the way for Massapequa sixth-graders to attend the middle school.
The Massapequa School Board voted Tuesday to fight the plan to transfer sixth-graders to Berner Middle School.
However, on Thursday, a judge sided with the education commissioner who supports the transfer, according to Newsday.
School Board President Tim Taylor opposes the relocation, but tells Newsday "we can't keep fighting this. This class will be going to Berner."
