News 12 Long Island has learned state officials have proposed stripping a Southampton day care of its license after arrests for alleged abuse of infants.
The Office of Children and Family Services has given Side by Side Day Care Center 30 days to ask for an appeal hearing.
Meanwhile, the center can stay open, but under increased monitoring.
As News 12 has reported, two workers were arrested last month on charges babies were force-fed and punished by being knocked to the ground.
