A movie-goer who purchased tickets to the opening night of Star Wars tells News 12 he never got to see the movie.
In a picture sent to News 12, the viewer was attending the 7:10 p.m. Star Wars showing at Regal Cinemas in Deer Park when the audio and video became out of sync. Then, an error message popped up and the movie never started.
News 12 was told the theater issued everyone two free movie tickets.
However, thousands of other people got to see "The Force Awakens" across Long Island yesterday with no problems.
Some fans even dressed up as their favorite characters.
"The Force Awakens" is the first Star Wars movie to be released in 10 years.
