Being a news reporter can be stressful at times – so what does News 12 Connecticut reporter Lauren Fabrizi do to de-stress? Why, she dances, of course!
“There is nothing I love more than coming home after a long day on the job, dealing with tight deadlines, than cranking up some music to take my mind off things,” says Fabrizi.
Dancing is something that Fabrizi started from a young age – in the highchair! Throughout her dancing career, Fabrizi trained with Fairfield dance instructor Susan Rozelle. Fabrizi says Rozelle taught her everything she knows about dance.
Fabrizi danced her way through high school and college, joining the dance team at St. Joseph’s in Trumbull, and even co-directing the annual showcase her senior year at Syracuse University.
While she hasn’t been inside a dance studio in years, Fabrizi says no space is ever too small to dance! And as far as what music she likes – she likes everything!
