? Police have accused a St. James teen of sending instant messages containing a ?hit list.?
Investigators say 18-year-old Christopher Inserra sent the messages to a 12-year-old girl. The messages threatened others who treated him badly and discussed a possible suicide pact with the 12-year-old, according to police.
The list allegedly included students and recent graduates of the Stony Brook School, a private boarding school. Police say they found out about the messages Monday.
Inserra is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Police say he did not have the means to carry out the threats.
The school?s headmaster is increasing campus security and sending a letter home to students regarding the incident. Inserra is not allowed on campus.
