Snow has ended across Long Island following a quick-moving storm this morning.
A total of 3 to 6 inches was seen islandwide, with lighter amounts along the South Shore and higher amounts on the North Shore.
This afternoon, clouds are clearing with sunshine and highs in the 40s, melting everything that has fallen.
For tonight, lows will be near 34 degrees. Drivers are urged to watch out for black ice and slick roads.
