Ready for the Warmest Day of the Year So Far?

If you’ve been waiting for warmer weather, today is your day! However, enjoy it while it lasts because next week, temperatures will swing between warm and chilly, bringing daily weather changes. Plus, there's an Elevated Risk for Fire Spread today due to low humidity and gusty winds from the WSW at 25 mph. So, avoid lighting outdoor flames.

This Weekend’s Weather

Saturday: It’s time to break out the shorts and sunglasses if you have plans this morning and afternoon—but keep a jacket handy for the evening. Skies will clear this morning, and temperatures are expected to soar into the 70s by noontime, with some spots potentially reaching 80. While it won’t break any records, it could be the warmest March day in several years.

As the afternoon progresses, clouds will begin to roll in, and temperatures will dip into the 50s by dinner time. Be prepared for a few passing showers after 3 p.m. as clouds mix with breaks of sunshine. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella just in case!

Sunday: Gloomy weather makes a return on Sunday. Expect foggy conditions and light drizzle in the morning, followed by overcast skies in the afternoon. Temperatures will hover around 50 degrees throughout the day, so keep a jacket close by.

Monday: The workweek kicks off with mostly cloudy skies, followed by a more overcast afternoon. Steady showers are likely in the second half of the day, and a thunderstorm is possible. Winds will be breezy, and highs will reach the 60s, so prepare for a damp and cool day.

Tuesday and Wednesday: Expect mostly sunny skies on both Tuesday and Wednesday, but it will feel chilly. Tuesday morning will start breezy, with temperatures in the 40s, and the afternoon will see highs in the 50s. Wednesday morning will be even colder, with temperatures nearing 30 degrees, potentially leading to a frost or freeze. Expect a mix of clouds in the afternoon, with highs struggling to reach 50.

Thursday: Thursday brings the next round of rain, with showers or storms likely in the morning. Conditions will become more scattered in the afternoon, but it will still feel warm with temperatures reaching the 60s.

Friday and Saturday: We could see a return of showers Friday into Saturday, with temperatures in the 60s on Friday and cooling to the 50s over the weekend.
