A former Brentwood High School student is facing charges, accused of beating a cat.
A video shows a cat being hit with a metal rod and the people doing it laughing.
The Suffolk SPCA says the former Brentwood student charged with animal cruelty.
The SPCA is hoping it can lead them to anyone else involved in the act.
The SPCA says another student alerted them to the video in September.It is unclear when the incident took place.
