A very special birthday celebration was held in Ronkonkoma Friday for a very special woman.

Mary Papilon is about to turn 109 years old this Sunday.

Papilon celebrated with family and friends at Day Haven Adult Day Services.

Her daughter, Regina Giglio, said her sense of humor is still going strong.
