Southold Town Clerk

Neville, 70, of Southold, seeking her sixth term, is running unopposed on the Republican, Conservative and Independence lines. She previously was deputy town clerk and before that worked in the planning, zoning and building departments. She received an associate degree in business from Suffolk County Community College and in 2010 the master municipal clerk designation through Cornell University’s Municipal Clerk Institute. She is active in professional organizations and serves on several town committees. She is married and has a son.

Neville said she will continue to upgrade town records management systems and work on getting different workflows online, adding she would work with town departments to upgrade systems and modernize record keeping. She said she also will continue to seek grant money for upgrading records systems. Continued work toward making records available online speeds searches, she said, and makes Town Hall more accessible for residents. “I love this job because it never gets boring,” Neville said.
