Sources: Off-duty NYPD officer injured in Brentwood shooting

Police say around 2:30 a.m. Monday, multiple shots were fired into a home on Morton Street, and a woman was grazed in the head by a bullet.

Police are searching for the gunman who sources say shot an off-duty NYPD officer in her Brentwood home.
Police say around 2:30 a.m. Monday, multiple shots were fired into a home on Morton Street, and a woman was grazed in the head by a bullet.
Sources tell News 12 the victim was an off-duty NYPD officer.
According to police, the woman was treated and released from the hospital.
Suffolk police say there were multiple people inside the home at the time of the shooting, and they do not believe the shooting was random.
At this time, no arrests have been made.
