Gov. Phil Murphy has nominated the former New Jersey Department of Transportation commissioner to head up New Jersey Transit, according to a source.
Kris Kolluri also headed up the commission Building the new Hudson River Rail Tunnel.
NJ Transit’s Board of Directors is expected to vote on his nomination on Wednesday.
Kulluri would replace Kevin Corbet as NJ Transit CEO. Corbett resigned on Monday after seven years in the role.
