A driver for adults with development disabilities was charged with DWI Tuesday following a crash in Freeport, a law enforcement source tells News 12.
The AHRC minivan driver was allegedly drunk when she crashed into a double-parked truck on Albany Avenue.
The sources say the driver of the minivan then called police to report. She was arrested and charged.
News 12 is told two AHRC adults were in the van at the time. They were not hurt.
News 12 reached out to AHRC and have not heard back.
