The Northwell Ironman 70.3 competition is back on at Jones Beach on Saturday after being postponed because of September's nor'easter.
Racers had to complete a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a full 22.6-mile marathon run, covering a total of 140 miles.
Athletes had 17 hours to cross the finish line and earn the title of Ironman.
The event was originally scheduled for September but was rescheduled to Oct.24 following the Nor'easter.
