The family of a missing Patchogue woman is pleading for help in finding their loved one.
Yvette Leonard’s son, Malyk Leonard, says his mother’s roommate claims his mom was last seen leaving a friend’s house in Patchogue on the night of June 13.
Malyk Leonard says he organized a search party from Riverhead to Freeport. He says his mother has bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and early-stage dementia.
“She’s a loving mother of three, she’s a sister, she’s a daughter, she’s an aunt, she’s a member of the community,” Malyk Leonard says. “She’s been a member of this community for 10 years. She’s a person with dreams and aspirations, but most importantly, she’s a person in need.”
