Long Islanders dealt with icy roads and freezing temperatures for their morning commutes Wednesday. The snow stopped falling overnight, but some side streets and sidewalks remain icy due to bitter cold temperatures.
News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Rich Hoffman says Wednesday will be breezy and cold, with high temperatures of 25-30 degrees.
Tuesday's storm brought between 3 and 6 inches of snow to the Island. Farmingville received 5.8 inches of snow, while Merrick got 3.5 inches.
