Police are searching for the snowmobilers who they say likely caused thousands of dollars in damage to an East End golf course.
Police say two putting greens, sand traps and T-boxes were found damaged yesterday morning at the Cherry Creek Golf Course located on Reeves Avenue in Riverhead.
Police say it appears the damage was done during or after Saturday's snow.
Damage is estimated in the thousands of dollars.
