Some Long Island crosswalks are still completely buried after the weekend storm dumped about two feet of snow across Nassau and Suffolk counties.
The snow piles have created a problem for those attempting to cross streets.
News 12 Long Island was in East Meadow across from Nassau University Medical Center, where snow piles buried handicap ramps.
Residents on McKee Street in the Town of North Hempstead say they have been stuck in their homes since the storm hit.
After News 12 reached out to the Town of North Hempstead, a plow was sent to McKee Street and removed the snow.
