Long Islanders are dealing with some snow that is causing roads to be slippery.
News 12 Long Island's Erin Colton was at the Town of Oyster Bay yard in Syosset where trucks are prepared with salt and sand.
Officials are warning commuters to take it slow because roads are icy in spots and will continue to be tonight.
Long Island is expected to get about 1 to 3 inches of snow in most areas.
