A Long Island
woman has been on a mission to spread messages of hope and joy through a simple
piece of chalk during the pandemic.
LeeAnne Chiulli,
of East Rockaway, wrote inspirational quotes on her driveway and developed a
following who waited each day for their dose of positivity.
"It's been
great because I have met so many wonderful people who said it has affected
their lives in a positive way," she told News 12.
Chiulli says her
sidewalk inspirations touched so many people that she started receiving boxes
of chalk as well as lots of encouragement from her community to keep on
quoting.
"You don't
have to make grand gestures to change the world. That's what I learned from
doing this," she says. “I think the world would really change if we had a
little more love.”
