Shirley woman pleads guilty to stealing $50K from developmentally disabled adults in her care

Jazzame Paranzino pleaded guilty to taking money from 11 developmentally disabled adults who were in her care at Maryhaven Center of Hope.

A Shirley woman was sentenced to four months behind bars after admitting to stealing $50,000 from residents of a Medford group home.
The Suffolk district attorney tells News 12 that Jazzame Paranzino pleaded guilty to taking money from 11 developmentally disabled adults who were in her care at Maryhaven Center of Hope.
Paranzino was the site manager and had access to their bank accounts.
In addition to the jail time, Paranzino has to return the money.
