In the wake of Hurricane Laura, the North Shore Animal League now has dozens of new pets ready for adoption.

The North Shore Animal League's emergency rescue team brought back more than 60 cats and dogs from Texas and Lousiana.

The animals weren't displaced by the storm, but North Shore says bringing them back to the Island helps clear shelter space for pets who were.
