It's camp week at News 12 Long Island. Today, News 12's Erin Colton is in Southold at the Peconic Dunes 4H Camp, one of Long Island's sleep away camps.

According to one of the directors, Chris Colahan, the camp offers a variety of activities for the kids. Each morning the campers wake up and sing while they raise the flag. Then they head off to either, 'yoga bear,' 'alpha bear' or 'polar bear' for their morning exercises. Yoga bear is a relaxing yoga class. Alpha bear offers a variety of calisthenics, and polar bear offers a swim workout.

Throughout the day, kids can play a variety of sports, such as basketball and baseball. Or they can participate in water activities, such as kayaking, snorkeling, canoeing or sailing.

The camp is run by counselors and counselors in training. Some of the counselors are from all over the world, including England and South Africa.
