score on their Advanced Placement Research exam.
Seaford senior Chelsea Russo and Massapequa senior Sarah
Popeck both received a top score of 5.
"The fact that I'm 17 and was able to write that entire paper and find
something absolutely incredible and influential for the field to look at, just
to be able to do that now feels incredible," Popeck says.
East Islip senior Chiara Mosca received a perfect score on the exam. She was
one of less than 400 high school students in the world to get the top score.
