The Stony Brook University baseball team will have another chance at greatness when they start the NCAA tournament on Friday.
The Seawolves shocked the baseball world in 2012 by making it all the way to the college World Series.
They also made trips to the tournament in 1995, 2004, 2008 and 2010.
Head coach Matt Senk believes his team has something that that 2012 team also had.
"Probably their resiliency, that team was talented," Senk told News 12. "This is a talented group as well. We played a tough schedule early and they stuck together and we got better as the season went along."
They play North Carolina State Friday in Fort Worth, Texas.
